Olmert pulling more Jews out of the Jewish homeland

Al-Reuters reports - Israeli police begin evacuating W.Bank settlement

Of course, being Al-Reuters, the report makes the Jews out as greedy, militant, grabbers of occupied Palestine.

It makes no reference to the fact that Jews lived in Judea and Samaria (the "West Bank") for over 3000 years before Jordan invaded it, annexed it and threw out the Jews that the "Palestinians" hadn't killed.

This is, of course, Israel's fault for being too sensitive and contrite after the 1967 war. Israel should have done exactly what Jordan did - annex this owner-less land and throw out its refugee Arab squatters.

Israel is, after all the only historically and morally legitimate government of Judea and Samaria. The Arabs got nearly all of the region, nearly half of historical Palestine and over three quarters of British mandate Palestine. The Jews should keep everything from the river to the sea.

Get in there! America stands up to Iranofascists

Love to have seen this reaction from Blair

(sigh)

ABC News: U.S. Navy Exercise Near Iran No Coincidence, Official Says

March 27, 2007 — The U.S. Navy is offering a huge show of military might near the location where Iran seized 15 British sailors and marines five days ago, in what is seen as a clear effort to send a message to Iran, a senior military official told ABC News' Martha Raddatz in Bahrain.

Twelve ships, 100 aircraft and 12,000 sailors are taking part in the war games designed to get the attention of Iran.

The naval exercise went on all day today and will continue Wednesday, with F-18 fighter jets roaring from the deck of both aircraft carriers in the first appearance of two U.S. carriers in the Gulf simultaneously since 2003.

U.S. naval officials in Bahrain told ABC News that the operation was hastily planned after the 15 Britons were seized Friday, yet the Bush administration would not say publicly that this is the case.

Diplomacy, Options Considered

Friday, when the sailors were first captured, there was every expectation that the men would be released within a few days, which is what happened during a similar incident in 2004.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair said today that unless the sailors and marines were returned safely, the crisis could escalate.

"I hope we manage to get them to realize they have to release them," Blair said. "If not, then this will move into a different phase."

The U.S. military exercise today goes well beyond the seizure of the Britons to address the overall tensions with Iran to include the transfer of Iranian weapons into Iraq and the standoff over Iran's nuclear program.

"The Navy is a very useful tool for deterring enemies," said Loren Thompson of the Lexington Institute. "It's a lot of power, and it can deploy just about anywhere that has a coastline."

For now, Iran is holding firm and has threatened to charge the captured sailors with illegally entering what they claim are Iranian waters — waters that the U.S. carriers will continue to monitor from very close by.

Keep hitting Iran until they release the British sailors

BBC NEWS: Iran warns sailors may be charged

This is Iran's version of their puppet Hezbollah's "Operation Truthful Promise".

As I'm sure you remember, the Hezbos planned in advance to snatch Israeli soldiers.

Nothing Hezbollah does is divorced from Iran. "Operation Truthful Promise" must have been planned and authorised by Iran. Well now the puppet masters have executed their own version.

"Operation Truthful Promise" backfired on Hezbollah. They thought the capture of Israeli troops could be used as bargaining. They expected a cowed "diplomatic" response and instead were nearly decimated by an unexpected war.

Iran expects a cowed diplomatic response from Blair. They want to use the captured British sailors to extract UN concessions.

Western governments often have a policy of never making concessions to terrorists. Ransom demands aren't met because, it is thought, this only encourages more hostage taking. Let's see if Blair has the stones to stand Iran down on this.

He should start taking aggressive military stances that leave Tehran in no doubt that unless the sailors are released now, a huge volley of missiles will be released at every Iranian military and government facility - with more targets taken out every day until the sailors are released.

This is the only way to deal with a mentality like Iran's. "Diplomacy" is taken as a sign of weakness and fear.

Mark Steyn on the the sharia we are importing Pakistan

Article - Opinion - Mark Steyn: Sticky wicket of creeping sharia

If you had to draw one of those organizational charts of the world's problems, Pakistan would be at the center of them. We speak of the northwestern tribal lands as some of the most remote places on Earth. But, in fact, when they wanted to, the Saudis had no problem getting to them, spreading a ton of walking-around money, and utterly transforming those villages. From the North-West Frontier Province, the Saudi money and Wahhabist ideology seeped through the country, into the mosques of the cities, radicalizing a generation of young Muslim men. From there it moved on to new outposts of the jihad, to Indonesia, Thailand and beyond. The flight routes from Pakistan to the United Kingdom are now the most important ideological conduit for radical Islam. The London bombers last summer were British subjects of Pakistani origin. Last week, two more were arrested in connection with the Tube bombings at Manchester Airport as they prepared to board a plane to Karachi.

Meanwhile, flying back from Karachi and Islamabad to Heathrow and Manchester are cousins, lots and lots of them. In his detailed study of the Mirpur district in Pakistan, Roger Ballard estimates that at least half and maybe up to two-thirds of those living in Britain of Mirpuri descent marry first cousins. This is a critical tool of reverse-assimilation: instead of being diluted over the generations, tribal identity is reinforced; in effect, Pakistani tribal lands are now being established in parts of northern England.

Which brings us back to the cricket World Cup, and a freakish murder after a bizarre Ireland victory and stories about a "match-fixing mafia." The civilized world sometimes forgets how thin the veneer of that civilization is: Many venerable, respectable institutions can be hollowed out from within by predators and opportunists. Outwardly, nothing much has changed. But underneath all kinds of other forces are at play, and, by the time you notice, it requires enormous will to reverse it.

Pakistan was never the most placid and stable polity but it's now riddled from top to toe, its worst pathologies amplified by Arab cash and ideology and the nuclear equivalent of a desktop-publishing boom: mysterious Sino-Pakistani technological transfers have recently been noticed through Kashmir.

Pakistan exports the fruit of its radical madrassahs in ideology and personnel to Britain and beyond. The mother country, like an elderly spinster, doesn't like to think ill of those nice young men in Manchester and Leeds and Oldham. We're all inclined to be deferential to multiculturalism these days: When imams get tossed off a flight in Minneapolis, it's easiest to tut-tut and demand sensitivity training for the cabin crew. The Quebec government, which mandates verifiable picture ID in order to vote, has just waived the requirement for Muslims: show up at the polls in a burqa or niqab and no one will be so insensitive as to insist on checking whether your face matches that on the driver's license.

And so it goes – creeping sharia, day by day, further insulating communities already prone to self-segregation, but nothing too big or startling to ruffle the scene. In Britain, the authorities can tell you (roughly) the number of jihadist cells and the support they command in the Muslim community. But doing anything about it is far more problematic. Wouldn't be cricket, old boy.

Real Americans fight back

US blog "Age of Hooper" has pictures from the anti-war rally in Washington.

The rally was organised ANSWER - a group of antiwar Marxists who threw their Liberal principles to the wind to embrace the misogynists, homophobes and racists in the Islamofascist movement. I guess they thought "my enemy's enemy is my friend" or something. We've seen the same situation in the UK, where the Socialist Workers culties have defended Islamofascism.

Mercifully, interest in these demos has blown over in recent years. Only a 20th of the expected turnout actually attended.

Another encouraging sign, was the counter-protest by the Gathering of Eagles. These Vietnam war veterans, families of servicemen & women and other patriots outnumbered the traitorbots by 6 to 1.

They successfully defended the national monuments that the moonbats desecrated on previous demos.

If the UK antiwar movement wasn't so moribund, I'd suggest we formed a Gathering of bulldogs.

Maybe when the Global Warming hype blows over and the idiots are, once again, bored, listless and itching to march about something.

More on the St Petersburg Declaration

edmontonsun.com - Opinion/Comment - Pulling Muslims from Dark Age

This past week individuals from various professions and different ethnicities sharing a connection with Islam gathered in St. Petersburg, Fla. The meeting was billed as Secular Islam Summit.

A statement -- The St. Petersburg Declaration -- was released which calls for an affirmation of individual rights and freedom of conscience for Muslims and non-Muslims alike in the Muslim world.

The declaration begins, "We are secular Muslims, and secular persons of Muslim societies. We are believers, doubters, and unbelievers, brought together by a great struggle, not between the West and Islam, but between the free and the unfree."

The lived experience by the summit's organizers of the broken and corrupt reality of Muslim countries makes the declaration compelling. The denial of freedom across the Muslim world by those who rule cruelly by usurping power lies at the heart of Islam's malady.

One of the organizers of the summit is a writer known by his pseudonym Ibn Warraq. Speaking in the Hague at a meeting organized by the Dutch government in early 2006, Ibn Warraq observed: "What we need now is an Age of Enlightenment in the Islamic world. Without critical examination of Islam, it will remain unassailed in its dogmatic, fanatical, medieval fortress; ossified, totalitarian and intolerant."

Prohibition of critically examining Islam is ironically un-Islamic. But men wielding swords supported by men functioning as a quasi-priestly class effectively set the boundaries of Islam as public faith early in Arab-Muslim history. Those questioning this brand of "official Islam" have suffered grievously.

HUMAN RIGHTS

The Muslim world's emergence out of its Dark Age requires "the separation of religion from state and the observance of universal human rights." Then hopefully, and logically, will follow reforms ending "Sharia law, fatwa courts, clerical rule," and elimination of such practices as "female circumcision, honour killing, forced veiling, and forced marriage that further the oppression of women."

In the West there are repeated demands in the media to know where are "moderate" Muslims -- if any -- publicly opposing Muslim violence done by invoking Islam. And yet when such an event as the St. Petersburg meeting occurs it goes mostly unreported by the same media.

Brett Stephens' column in the Wall Street Journal was, however, a rare reporting on the Summit. Stephens noted the presence of the Arab television al-Jazeerah, "suggesting that the real Arab mainstream better appreciates the broad interest the conference's speakers attract in the Muslim world, as well as their latent power."

Individuals coming together, as in Florida, to push for Islamic reform may be small in number and generally unknown to the public outside their circle of friends and supporters. Such modest beginnings for events of great consequences are not uncommon in history.

It might be worth recalling how efforts of individuals not widely known to the public unleashed the Reformation of Christianity and made for the Age of Enlightenment in Europe. Martin Luther was an obscure monk when he posted his 95 propositions on the doors of All Saints' church in Wittenberg in October 1517, and he could not have imagined how greatly he contributed to the convulsion that consumed Europe for the next several centuries.

A successful Islamic reform will occur when many more Muslims insist on the "release of Islam from its captivity to the totalitarian ambitions of power-hungry men and the rigid strictures of orthodoxy."

Then Muslims might find for themselves "a noble future for Islam as a personal faith, not a political doctrine" as the brave individuals gathered together at the first Secular Islam Summit dared publicly to imagine.

The road to Islamic reform.

The brave modernisers of Islam came together in St Petersburg, USA. They agreed a declaration which, if realised, will bring islam into the modern era.

I don't for one minute expect the fascist "Muslim Community Groups" to embrace these lofty principles. I do, however, think that any public voices give hope to the silent majority.

Revolution is on the way - and not a second too soon. Secular Islam Summit :: General :: The St. Petersburg Declaration

We are secular Muslims, and secular persons of Muslim societies. We are believers, doubters, and unbelievers, brought together by a great struggle, not between the West and Islam, but between the free and the unfree.

We affirm the inviolable freedom of the individual conscience. We believe in the equality of all human persons.

We insist upon the separation of religion from state and the observance of universal human rights.

We find traditions of liberty, rationality, and tolerance in the rich histories of pre-Islamic and Islamic societies. These values do not belong to the West or the East; they are the common moral heritage of humankind.

We see no colonialism, racism, or so-called “Islamaphobia” in submitting Islamic practices to criticism or condemnation when they violate human reason or rights.

We call on the governments of the world to

reject Sharia law, fatwa courts, clerical rule, and state-sanctioned religion in all their forms; oppose all penalties for blasphemy and apostasy, in accordance with Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human rights;

eliminate practices, such as female circumcision, honor killing, forced veiling, and forced marriage, that further the oppression of women;

protect sexual and gender minorities from persecution and violence;

reform sectarian education that teaches intolerance and bigotry towards non-Muslims;

and foster an open public sphere in which all matters may be discussed without coercion or intimidation.

We demand the release of Islam from its captivity to the totalitarian ambitions of power-hungry men and the rigid strictures of orthodoxy.

We enjoin academics and thinkers everywhere to embark on a fearless examination of the origins and sources of Islam, and to promulgate the ideals of free scientific and spiritual inquiry through cross-cultural translation, publishing, and the mass media.

We say to Muslim believers: there is a noble future for Islam as a personal faith, not a political doctrine;

to Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Baha’is, and all members of non-Muslim faith communities: we stand with you as free and equal citizens;

and to nonbelievers: we defend your unqualified liberty to question and dissent.

Before any of us is a member of the Umma, the Body of Christ, or the Chosen People, we are all members of the community of conscience, the people who must choose for themselves.

Islamists Slam Palestinian Lesbian Conference...

Think of all the places in the Middle East that could host a Palestinian conference.

The Saudis chaired a "peace" meeting between Hamas and Fatah. Dubai, the natural conference venue of the region would have been ideal. Even Iran, the Shi'ite homeland, would normally welcome Palestinian delegations.

But no. The attending will be Palestinian lesbians and the only country in the entire Middle East that respects the human rights of Lesbians is Israel.

So this year's Palestinian Lesbian Conference will be held in the "eeeevil Zionist Entity".

Of course this has upset Israel's resident Islamists as Ha'Eretz reports:

Islamic Movement condemns Palestinian lesbian conference - Haaretz - Israel News:

A conference of Palestinian lesbians, scheduled to be held in Haifa at the end of the month, has raised the ire of Israel's Islamic Movement leaders.

Last week, the movement's heads, MKs Ibrahim Sarsur and Abas Zkoor (United Arab List-Ta'al) published a statement calling on "all respectable people from all communities and streams to stand up against preaching sexual deviance among our women and girls."

The Haifa-based Asawat, a Palestinian gay women's organization, most of whose 85 members hail from Israel and the territories, has called the March 28 conference to mark its five-year anniversary.

The Islamic Movement statement also said, "We must not let this fatal cancer spread in our community."

Maybe there is a God

ZAKA head hits Neturei-Karta rabbi | Jerusalem Post:

"Yehuda Meshi-Zahav, chairman of ZAKA and former operations officer for the Ultra-Orthodox community, hit the Jewish man who kissed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, it was reported on Monday.

The violent incident occurred last Friday in Poland during a mass visit of Orthodox Jews to the country in order to honor Hassidic Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk.

When the visitors arrived at Lizhensk on Friday morning, they heard that Moshe Arye Freedman, a member of the fanatic anti-Israel group Neturei Karta, was present as well. Freedman recently made headlines when he was photographed kissing Ahmadinejad during the Holocaust denial conference in Teheran three months ago.

Meshi-Zahav, along with another ZAKA member, quickly located Freedman and set upon him, punching the man, kicking him and breaking his glasses.

The fight was dispersed when local police arrived at the scene."

I'm not a violent man, but hearing that a traitorous vermin Neturei Karta scumbag got punched in the face, brought a guilty smile to my face.

Who hasn't wanted to punch an NK leader at some point? But given the opportunity, kudos to Meshi-Zahav for going through with it and laying out the Ahmadinejad-kissing, holocaust-denying, Israel hating Judas. I would probably have only muttered something at the bastard and regretted not taking firmer action.

Violence should not be necessary. Were this a normal Islamist or Nazi, I'd say "live and let live", but while these asshole culties are allowed to call themselves "Jews", it just makes them the lowest form of antisemite: the self-hating Jew traitor.

I blame the Chief Rabinate as much as anyone. They make it as hard as possible for nice, sincere converts to join the tribe, but won't excommunicate the Neturei Karta scumbags.

Why the Muslim world hates Israel

from FOX News - Jordanian King's Address to Congress Draws Criticism For One-Sided Mideast Peace Outlook: "Top House Democrats said Wednesday they are 'disappointed' with Jordanian King Abdullah's address to a joint meeting of Congress in which he singled out the plight of Palestinians without mentioning the role of Palestinian groups in preventing a Mideast peace.

In a room with a number of pro-Israeli politicians, the king devoted his speech to discussing an end to the conflict in the Middle East, but he focused primarily on the needs of the Palestinians and suggested that Israel was holding up the peace process.

At no point did he discuss the role of Hamas, the U.S.-designated terror group that is the majority partner in the Palestinian government. Hamas has refused to recognize Israel or change its charter calling for the destruction of the Jewish state.

'The security of all nations and the stability of our global economy are directly affected by the Middle East conflict. Across oceans, the conflict has estranged societies that should be friends,' Abdullah told the packed House chamber.

'I meet Muslims thousands of miles away who have a deep, personal response to the suffering of the Palestinian people. They want to know how it is, that ordinary Palestinians are still without rights and without a country."

If the Muslim world is obsessed with the perfidity of Israel, it's not about the plight of the "Palestinians", who have always been treated like the lowest form of crap by the Arab world.

If this was about the "Palestinians", the Muslim world would be more pissed off at Jordan than Israel.

Here's some hard facts:

*Jordan has killed more "Palestinians" than Israel

*The Jordanian Hashemite minority rules over the "Palestinian" majority.

*Jordan is built on land that was formerly Palestine, yet Jordan will not give an inch of land to the "Palestinians".

Ah - but Jordan is a Muslim country. Perhaps the Muslim world is just obsessed with Israel because it's a conflict between infidels and fellow Muslims?

No - if this was the case, the Muslim world would be much more angry at Russia. The situation in Chechnya makes the conflict in Gaza & Israel look like a picnic.

Aside from Chechnya, Muslims have been killed by "infidels" from Serbia, India and many other places, yet Israel remains Muslim obsession number one.

Why, then?

There's one major reason why Muslims across the world are obsessed with Israel:

ANTISEMITISM.

Antisemitism that is forced into them from birth by Muslim clerics and facilitated by regimes like Jordan.

The Koran Insists on the Land of Israel

Shame so many Muslims choose to ignore this part:

The Authorized English Translation of the Quran, Sura - 17 The Children of Israel (Bani Israel)-translated from the original by Dr. Rashad Khalifa:

[17:101] We supported Moses with nine profound miracles - ask the Children of Israel. When he went to them, Pharaoh said to him, 'I think that you, Moses, are bewitched.'

[17:102] He said, 'You know full well that no one can manifest these except, obviously, the Lord of the heavens and the earth. I think that you, Pharaoh, are doomed.'

[17:103] When he pursued them, as he chased them out of the land, we drowned him, together with those who sided with him, all of them.

[17:104] And we said to the Children of Israel afterwards, 'Go live into this land. When the final prophecy comes to pass, we will summon you all in one group.'

BARBARIANS!

Khaleej Times Online - Saudi gang-rape victim faces 90 lashes: "RIYADH - A Saudi woman who was kidnapped at knifepoint, gang-raped and then beaten by her brother has been sentenced to 90 lashes -- for a meeting a man who was not a relative, a newspaper reported on Monday.

In an interview with the Saudi Gazette, the 19-year-old said she was blackmailed a year ago into meeting a man who threatened to tell her family they were having a relationship outside wedlock, which is illegal in the ultra-conservative desert kingdom.

After driving off together from a shopping mall near her home, the woman and the man were stopped and abducted by a gang of men wielding kitchen knives who took them to a farm where she was raped 14 times by her captors.

Five men were arrested for the rape and given jail terms ranging from 10 months to five years by a panel of judges in the eastern city of Qatif, near the woman’s hometown.

But the judges also decided to sentence the woman, identified by the newspaper only as ‘G,’ and the man to lashes for being alone together in the car.

Unrelated men and women are forbidden from interacting in public in Saudi Arabia, which strictly enforces Islamic Sharia law."

Israel's Arab President rubbishes "Apartheid" slurs

TotallyJewish.com :

"ISRAEL'S ARAB PRESIDENT"
Israel's first non-Jewish President has rubbished claims that the Jewish state is an apartheid country.

Speaking to TJ, Arab Kadima Knesset member Majallie Whbee said his ascent to the position proved that those who draw such a parallel with the former South African regime were ignoring the “facts on the ground”.

And saying he was proud of being an Israeli citizen, the Druze MK also spoke of his wish to show the world that Israel is a democratic country with equal rights.

Whbee will serve as ceremonial President until next Tuesday, while acting president Dalia Itzik is in America. Itzik took over the position from Moshe Katsav after he temporarily suspended himself following the Attorney General’s announcement that he may be indicted on multiple charges including rape.

Whbee, who rose to the rank of colonel during 19 years in a parachute division of the IDF, said: "This is a very historic day and week because it is the first time that a person from the minorities has become the president of Israel.

"The important thing for us is that it shows that we can be counterparts, citizens who have duties and rights. That we actually are a democratic country.”

Former US President Jimmy Carter recently became the latest prominent figure to attach the ‘apartheid’ tag to Israel, but Whbee said he believes the reality couldn't be more different.

"I think my appointment is the example and answer for those who accuse Israel of being an apartheid state. It shows minorities have equal rights and we are part of the government, the state and the parliament.”

But he warned: “Those people who have a very bad attitude towards Israel will continue with their thoughts nevertheless.”

Although he will only hold the position for a week, he said he wanted to use the opportunity to try and make some inroads in the peace process, and had already organised meetings with the Jordanian and Egyptian Ambassadors to Israel.

“I believe I can increase the confidence of the relations between the two sides,” said Whbee, who first entered politics in 1995 as an assistant to then Minister of Infrastructure Ariel Sharon. “I can talk to these representatives more openly and put my points on the table.”

As a Kadima MK Whbee espouses the views of the government and said he was planning to tell the Jordanian and Egyptian ambassadors that he believed there “will be no hope for the peace process” unless Hamas recognises the State of Israel.

Referring to the recent Mecca agreement between Palestinian groups, Whbee was definite in his views. “Israel should absolutely not accept a Palestinian unity government. We are not playing games. We are serious. If they really want us to believe in this agreement they should recognise the existence of Israel and then they can put whatever they wanton the negotiating table,” he said.

While Whbee was clearly proud of his ascension to one of the top positions in Israeli society, he said he was concerned over the state of Israeli politics. As well as the Katsav scandal, in recent months there have been various investigations of corruption and misdoings.

“Of course I would rather I got to this position in other circumstances,” he said. “While I know that it is not the majority, we have some people who making the picture not as pure as it should be. It makes me feel very sorry because I would like to be in a society with representatives who are far from this kind of corruption.”

UN - tough on Islamic terrorism!!!!

Did you know that the UN has a special committee dedicated to eradicating terrorism?

I didn't, but it's nice to see they are taking it seriously.

Considering the source of nearly all terrorism facing the world, you would think that this committee would focus its efforts on closing down the hate madressas and pressuring Middle Eastern governments into arresting the Islamist leaders who teach people to blow themselves and civilians to smithereens.

Aside from the peripheral Tamil Tigers, todays terrorism is Islamic Terrorism.

Sadly, and predictably, the UN anti-terrorism group don't want to touch this issue. A Google Search shows that "Islam" is only mentioned twice on the commitee's website. Both are instances where the linking of Islam with terrorism is condemned.

Great.

Progress is just around the corner.
